GPDN aims to educate and inspire Canadian graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to develop and take action to achieve current and future career goals.
It is clear that graduate and postdoctoral training has evolved significantly in the past decades with changed expectations from students, government, and industry sectors. To help graduate students and postdoctoral scholars succeed in this new environment, career development professionals and administrators must develop and deliver new programming and resources based on these updated practices and expectations.
To support these career development efforts, GPDN strives to create a supportive network where career development professionals and administrators can share resources with other professionals, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars; establish collaborations; and advance graduate and postdoctoral training, research, and development.
