From October 18 to October 21, 2021, GPDN is hosting the annual Canadian Career Symposium for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows aimed at professional development and career exploration.
All sessions will be in English.
The symposium includes a keynote address from Molly Grisham, and workshops from Loleen Berdahl and Jonathan Malloy (Work Your Career) and GPDN career experts on topics including Individualized Development Plans and career planning, positive psychology in the job search, getting a foot in the door, labour market information, and more. The program also includes lived experiences, with panels on transitioning your graduate work to the workforce, work integrated learning and experiences, and publicly engaged research.

SYMPOSIUM CANADIEN SUR LES CARRIÈRES POUR LES ÉTUDIANTS AUX ÉTUDES SUPÉRIEURES ET POSTDOCTORALES
Le RPESP organise le Symposium canadien sur les carrières pour les étudiants aux études supérieures et postdoctorales qui porte sur le développement professionnel et l’exploration de carrière et qui se tiendra du 18 au 21 octobre.
Toutes les sessions seront présentées en anglais.
Le symposium comprend un discours-programme de Molly Grisham, ainsi que des ateliers de Loleen Berdahl et Jonathan Malloy (Work Your Career) et des experts en carrière du RPESP sur des sujets tels que les plans de développement individualisés et la planification de carrière, la psychologie positive dans la recherche d'emploi, mettre un pied dans la porte, les informations sur le marché du travail, etc. Le programme comprend également des expériences vécues, avec des panels sur la transition de vos études supérieures vers le marché du travail, l'apprentissage et les expériences intégrés au travail, et la recherche engagée publiquement.
